No it is not code for anything.  She is a professional and loves to work on planes. :)

I do get raised eyebrows when I mention that my MX is female since it is a mostly male dominated career field.

I'm in the same boat. My Primary CFI was female, andjust had a mid-life career change to fly the airlines. My CFII was a different female, who had a mid-life career change to leave the airlines and go to nursing school. What are the odds? I've yet to find a female A&P, but I also have not been looking for one.

Very nice....although last time I was at KMYF it was north of 100deg....so I don't suppose you'll need the engine pre-heat all that often!

It's the destinations I go to. Jackson WY, Driggs ID, Durango/Telluride Co, Mammoth CA. All fun to ski but very cold in the winter!

How did you get it done so fast? Great service.

Money, a whip and some elbow grease!

I actually had a really great time working with a new to me mechanic on this. He is a secound generation wrench and didn't mind me doing portions as my time permitted. Also he agreed to go up with me on the first flight afterwards!
