Linden to Orange County for Mooney Fly In Lunch

Did the Newark controller take you right over runway 22 and then tell you to fly to the Statue of Liberty? Your airport must be a lot of fun during rush hour. Nice video!

Mike Check out your airspeed vs your AOA on landing. Nice coms with Newark and NY.

Thanks. I've flown the river route from Danbury to Linden in 9249M, down the river, keeping to the right, right turn at the Lady. Your controllers are real pros.

Pretty much, unless I get too busy and forget to put more on or the frequency is so congested that it's constantly being overridden. I'll practice flying back to back approaches in IMC and still have my music playing.

Mike, How long can you keep the nose wheel off the ground during the landing? Seems like many seconds from the video. Best regards, -a-
You missed a firsthand demonstration of this technique at N57. The answer is simple. A really LOOOOONNNNGGGG time. :)

I don't listen to music until I'm out of a terminal area and well into my climb or in cruise. I turn music off before starting my descent and never listen to it during simulated or actual IMC.

Wow....This sounds like a good pole question.

Should I start a pole on whether I should start a pole on this question or does anyone else have an opinion on music in flight that they want to add to this thread?

Sure enjoyed your trip with you.  Hmmm, makes me want to go flying again today.  Thank you for sharing this.

Oh yes, watch that airspeed on final.  It sure will help with all that floating down the runway.
