Belgium is a unique country for sure. The south speak French, the north speak Flemish (Dutch) and the ones in Brussels won't give into each other so they speak English. I am just here to work for a couple years then time to move on somewhere else.

I have had the opportunity to visit many of the countries around here. The food can be incredible. The Turks know how to put on a spread for sure. I think they have like 6 main courses. Belgians have their little boy peeing and French Fries. They grow a special potato and double cook it in a beef fat; the first time at a lower temp then again at a higher temp. It is a science for them I think.

Bon Weekend!

Holy Moly!  Talk about thread drift.  How did we get from where we were yesterday when I responded to this thread with a post to this comedy act about pedophiles and stone children pissing?  Makes my head spin trying to keep up!

From why Mooniacs are so friendly to subtleties for us to remember next time we're in Europe -- point about great people on here and interesting conversations made!

Holy Moly!  Talk about thread drift.....

I beg to differ...

Just another good example of thread evolution, not drift. :)

For years we had French kids stay with us in summer and they all told Belgian jokes.  One of the jokes truly relates to aviation.  It goes like this:  Two Belgian truckdrivers were driving a truck at night four meters tall.  They came to a bridge at two in the morning.  The sign said "Maximum truck height 3 meters."  They stopped the truck and one of the Belgians got out.  He looked all around and then at the bridge, and said to the other driver,  "it's ok. No cops!"   -  Sorry.  Had to say it.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be, 'Why MOST Mooney pilots aren't A/H's?' ;)

Starting when? . . . After I joined the forum??
