Tmarsha Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Folks, please remind me where the threads are that discuss recommended wash & wax products for our Mooneys. I remember seeing a few weeks back. Tks Tom Quote
Hank Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Not sure about the thread, but I recommend Wash-Wax-All. Works great, can do it in the hangar without a hose or floor drain, and it makes bug removal fast and easy. Visit www.washwaxall.com, I think. Blue is for everything, Red works well if the belly gets nasty. 1 Quote
Mooneymite Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Caution! Thread creep..... Prior to waxing, I have found nothing works better for the belly/nasty areas than Crazy Clean. http://www.drugstore.com/popups/largerphoto/default.asp?pid=215543&catid=184274&size=500&trx=29888&trxp1=215543&trxp2=1 Spray it on, wipe all the mess off....it's that quick. MARZ Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I washed mine (belly and all) followed by Meguiar’s cleaner wax to remove the oxidation and then Meguiar’s Deep Crystal. The paint job is 7 years old. For belly grime go to the dollar store and get Ala's Totally Awesome. Quote
timpercarpio Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 I use Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover on the belly of our plane. It works great, is easy to use and leaves a smooth shine. Quote
