You need to add circuit breakers and switches, and circuit breakers should be with the others. Wait until you do a panel upgrade, the you have it done right. There are toggle CB switches. If you look at the picture of my panel you will see some have a flat tip some rounded. The flat tip ones are CB switches and the CB rating is on the tip.

skykrawler Posted December 30, 2025 Report Posted December 30, 2025 These are the latest incarnation of the E-T-A toggle circuit breakers https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/E-T-A/3131-AF1PT-000000-1Y2-10A?qs=Rv6LVDxB0ZpeshD3S7sQdw%3D%3D The trick is the mounting ... will they just clip into the existing panel cutout.

Pinecone if you put some silicone boots on those old toggle switches it will help to make them look a little more purposeful in their installation. You can also get silicone caps for those old lever-lock switches a-la Boeing 737.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have anymore rs232 inputs because that’s the best way to wire it - you can display current ppm. Mine is connected through my gea to alarm at 50ppm through the g3x.

Just how it got installed. I will ask next time I visit the shop. I have a second 7" G3X on the right side, partially due to running out of RS232 ports. Original plan was an AERO 760 in a dock on the right.

Makes me feel at home 1

Knowing the actual ppm is a lot better than waiting on an alarm at 50ppm like mine does. I have a sensorcon as well. The mfd would also be nice to display the eis when you’re practicing IFR with a pfd failure. I really don’t enjoy doing that by sound/speed.
