billy hellcat Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 Does anybody know who can service a turn coordinator for a Brittain autopilot? It’s a tc100 Evs. Tried porter strait in Tulsa and they don’t service them anymore. Thanks. Quote

Kevin WestbrookYes, Kevin used to work for Brittain, building their turn coordinators. These are NOT diy fixit units, so get a professional to fix it. He can fix them but not provide a yellow tag.Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk Quote
corn_flake Posted Thursday at 03:16 AM Report Posted Thursday at 03:16 AM Yeah, trust me. I tried to repair one my self. As soon as I realized I also had to build a rig to "turn" the coordinator 360 degree with exactly 2 minutes, I say, forget it!! I should let professional handle it. Keven did great work in bring it back alive!! Quote

Searching or Rate table come up with nothing. Are you referring to buying parts for DIY rate table? Care the share a picture if you made one? Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted Thursday at 10:21 PM Report Posted Thursday at 10:21 PM I looked a bit, you can get 5 RPM 12V gear motor for $50. you will need to make some type of turntable and a 10/1 belt drive. I would get a lab power supply to fine tune the speed. You can calibrate it with a stopwatch. Or you can spend big bucks: https://www.ideal-aerosmith.com/products/1-2-or-3-axis-rate-and-positioning-tables/ Quote
