  1. Thanks Vic, The LOC does not give any response either on a LOC channel for the runway. Either that or I don't know how ṭo use it. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  2. 066 3025 01 is the King model number Sent from my SM-T227U using Tapatalk
  3. Flew yesterday to test and mostly static on nav. Occasionally I could hear a faint Morse code but no whirring sound. Also tried a LOC frequency and nothing showed on the GS. Sent from my SM-T227U using Tapatalk
  4. Tested yesterday and at times could hear the code. I was only a few miles from the for. Zero luck with the LOC ILS. Sent from my SM-T227U using Tapatalk
  5. Yes! I'm soaking in this info. Attached pic has some output pins for the 170b. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  6. I will check the audio on the nav and get back to you. Thanks. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  7. I have not tried an ILS. I will do that. I did try the local VOR, but I was still getting flags on the CDI.
  8. I have the TKM MX170b and the CDI connected to it is showing flags on a good local VOR. I'm not sure if the problem is the 170b, or the CDI. 1. Is there a way to use a common multimeter to test the 170b harness pins to the CDI? 2. Is there a way to test the CDI with a multimeter? 3. What other means could I use to test the 170b and the CDI? The Com portion of the 170b works fine.
  9. Just know that annuals can result in thousands of dollars beyond what you might have expected due to fixes you were not expecting.
  10. I bought the screws and internal star lock washers from Wag-Aero. I found some castle nut hub caps on Ebay. Thanks for the screw part numbers!
  11. This is probably what some mechanic did.... too much grease. I will check out the poly seals. Thanks.
  12. Skip, Thanks for the great details. Very very helpful! [emoji2] Sent from my N1374DL using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks. The part number you gave is what I need. Sent from my N1374DL using Tapatalk
  14. 67 M20F. I feel the need to get some hubcaps to cover the main gear bearings on the wheels. I ran across this on Wag Aero: https://www.wagaero.com/replacement-hub-caps.html Says it will fit most 6.00 x 6 wheels, which is what the M20 has. They are plastic and cost $7.50 each. That's not a typo! Any thoughts? My castle nuts are open to the air now and I have to clean grease off the bottom of my plane!
