Flagler KXFL Fly In April 14 @ 11:30 AM

Our last event was held on a marginal day, rainy with a 1,000 ft. overcast at the New Smyrna (EVB) but six hearty souls flew in and 2 drove in for a total of 8. As usual we had good food and better conversation

Future Events are all on the second Saturday of the month:

 

April 14, Flagler (KXFL) High Jackers

May 12, Leesburg (KLEE) At the home of Dave and Ruth, special reservations required for transportation to & from (20 minute drive), details for this event only are as follows:

 

Our May 12 Lunch will be held in Leesburg (LEE) at Dave & Ruth's home. Come see their expansive model railroad in their back yard. Volunteers will drive everyone from LEE to their house, and for planning and logistics they require a reservation by Monday May 7 -- but earlier notification would be very helpful. Please provide your name, tail number, and number in your party.

 

Plan to arrive no later than noon. If your plans change before Saturday please let Dave know atdaveanruth@aol.com or 352-343-3196. If your plans change on Saturday morning, please leave a message for Melinda Simmons at Sunair at 352-787-2211 since she will be coordinating auto pick up transportation

July 14, Williston, (X60)

August 11, Bartow (KBOW)

 

All events start at 11:30.

 

E-mail Dave by Thursday night of the week of the event and let him know if you plan to make it, so he give the restaurant on Friday an approximate head count. Of course, no one is obligated to come if they can't make it for any reason.

 

Come out, have some flying fun, make new friends, and learn a thing or two.

Looks like I'm most likely back on for Saturday...anyone else going?

Anyone with time to kill in the morning or afternoon and looking for a really fun experience should go visit Tripp and Dan at Ryan Seaplanes on the field and fly the Beaver or the Husky.
