Ulysse Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 Hello Is the annual valid until it's anniversary date or the last day of the month it was performed the previous year? Quote
Rwsavory Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 It’s 12 calendar months. So, last day of the month. 3 Quote

PeteMc Posted January 9, 2024 Report Posted January 9, 2024 End of the month. When I first got my plane the Annual was in the middle of the summer. So I'd drop it of withing the last few days of the month so even if they got me in and out quickly, I'd still move a month. Finally got it to March which works great for me schedule and there were usually lots of good flying days so I didn't have to worry about getting it to the mechanic. 1 Quote

I am now at late January to early February. It will go back around on me soon. Quote
Pinecone Posted January 10, 2024 Report Posted January 10, 2024 I am jumping mine forward from December (annoying for holiday trips) to about March or April. But being helped by major avionics upgrade. Quote

I don't keep moving mine any more. I get that you can get a "13 month" annual if you bring it in the last days of the month every time. For me it was getting it in a month I wasn't flying a lot anyway and it definitely was out of the prime warmer Wx months. 2 Quote
Pinecone Posted January 11, 2024 Report Posted January 11, 2024 Understand. Have to balance the ability to get it to the shop to not missing good flying weather. 1 Quote
hubcap Posted January 11, 2024 Report Posted January 11, 2024 I am moving mine to February this year, so Myrtle goes in 3 weeks for annual. February is usually pretty poor for flying. Quote
MikeOH Posted January 11, 2024 Report Posted January 11, 2024 Southern California and 13 month annuals for me Quote
