Suggest you consider the bundle offered by flying magazine. Includes aviation consumer, IFR, plane and pilot, aviation safety, flying, and a couple of others.

you can use an iPad to view, some magazines have recorded stories.

I subscribe to IFR and Aviation Consumer. I used to subscribe to Flying, but I dropped it when they went to the new format.

Your link just looks like an email address - is there an info page on the bundle subscription?

Just make sure you read the fine print at the bottom as this is an auto-renewing, forever subscription.

If you have a credit card that does “virtual account” numbers - it’s great for this. Create a credit card number that’s good for one month, use that to subscribe. When they try to auto-renew, it will fail - and you can make a decision about whether you want it.

Citi has this feature for all cards, not sure which other banks have it.

Good call. I seem to get my credit card compromised every couple of years. After changing the number and when the payments fail, it reveals all the accounts and subscriptions that I forgot I had.

The editorial quality of Aviation Consumer, the only one of those I subscribed to has declined precipitously in the last few months. If it does not pick up I doubt I will renew.  Flying I gave up on when it became “Town & Country” with wings. I have little confidence in the “mothership” publisher that has amalgamated these publications. AOPA Pilot is free with my membership and that along with AVWeb email fills my needs.

Honestly my biggest gripe with this and other magazine offers is that you can get print+digital, but not digital-only. Or in some cases the print+digital offer is considerably cheaper than digital-only. I don’t pretend to understand the economics of magazine publishing, but I really don’t enjoy taking a magazine from the mail and throwing it in the bin. I prefer to read digital, since I can take all of my subscriptions with me on a tablet.

Appears I did get the print and digital versions so Toto is correct. I have not got print versions yet so I may ask to delete them if the printed versions come  later.

I’ll be interested to know if they can kill the print version. I might just do that, if they can give me credit for the three subscriptions I currently have…

I mentioned this to AOPA years ago as a way to save on the print costs...  Still not an option and I toss the print copy as soon as it arrives.
