Eric S Posted April 26, 2023 Report Posted April 26, 2023 Purchased new in 2021, used during the summer when I'm in Maine. Works great. Sold my Mooney and it will not work with the Sling TSi I'm building. Asking $1,500 plus shipping. Quote
LANCECASPER Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 I tried them all and I ended up a Sidewinder- it's the best. Start a post and keep us up to date on your Sling TSi build. Are you going with the 916i Rotax? Quote
Eric S Posted April 29, 2023 Author Report Posted April 29, 2023 @LANCECASPERI'm using the 915i. Long lead time for the 916i and the net effective difference is 2 hp for the max continuous power setting. The 916i makes great sense for the new Sling HighWing model since that is meant for the back country crowd. I'm building the TSi with builder assist, Midwest Build Center to be specific, so it will hopefully not be a long duration building project. I'll likely take your recommendation to put together a post to track progress. 1 Quote
gmonnig Posted April 29, 2023 Report Posted April 29, 2023 Surprised this hasn't sold immediately. The sidewinder is amazing and simple to use. I even take it to Oshkosh, makes moving the plane on grass a breeze. Quote
Tony Hoffman Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 Hey guys I also have one for sale, was my late dads. Barely used, not even a year old, looks new, comes with battery and charger. sold my dads Cessna so no need for it anymore. $1500 + Shipping Quote
Tim-37419 Posted February 2 Report Posted February 2 @Tony Hoffman that little piece on the end won’t fit our planes. Sidewinder may sell the Mooney adapter separately, not entirely sure. Anyway, they are great (I have one) and your price is fair. Good luck with the sale. Quote
LANCECASPER Posted February 2 Report Posted February 2 @Tony Hoffman I believe you need to be a Supporter to list items For sale on Mooneyspace. Plus when you only have two posts ever and they both are selling a high dollar item people have serious doubts about the whether it’s a scam or not. Quote

Yeah i can understand that, cant trust anyone these days however this is not a scam. i have no intentions in becoming a supporter as I'm not into the whole aviation scene, that was my dads thing. I'm simply trying to sell it to someone who can use it at a fair price as apposed to rusting away in a corner somewhere. again, i do understand your skepticism though. Perhaps i should also try FB market place. Best regards 1 Quote
