SiriusXM Audio GDL52

I looked around the site and may have missed this.  I have a GDL 52 and want to use both the SiriusXM weather and audio.   Is my only option to control the audio to use garmin pilot?   I have used foreflight for many years and have been doing my best to move to garmin pilot but want to confirm that the only way to control the audio through the GDL52 is by using garmin pilot.

I believe that is true for iPads as Foreflight does not allow for controlling the music.  I think you can still control it without a subscription to Garmin Pilot - you just have to download Pilot and create a trial account.  Once the 30 day trial runs out I think you can still go to the Devices page w/o having to have a subscription.

I control the music on my GDL52 with a 660 or 760.
