Brake bleeding help

I have a 1989J with brakes on both sides. Can’t seem to get the left side bled properly. Right side is fine. Any tricks that  anybody has come across to bleed the brakes?

we have a tobago that was doing the same thing. what we ended up doing was pressing both pedals simultaneously when we were bleeding the brakes. the guy pressing the pedals would sit in the middle of the front seats so he could reach both right or left pedals at the same time. we also used a reservoir w a hose connected to the bleeder on the caliper to allow us to get a lot of fluid through the system.   you can use any container for the bleed reservoir, just make sure the hose stays immersed in brake fluid and that the hose is full of fluid when you  begin - the pumping of the brakes will allow fluid to be pushed out when you depress the pedals and sucked back in when you release them - no need to pump, hold and crack the bleeder w this technique. once there's no air bubbles yiu should be good.  just make sure master cylinder is full before you begin and not allowed to go empty or you'll have to start over.

I had the same issue earlier this week.  I was doing the pressure feed from the top, then the pump/hold/bleed thing with my wife.  I was told to feed the pressure up from the bottom so thought I would try that.  I then got to thinking that I would get air back in the line when switching sides.  Took another trip to Ace and I hooked my pressure pot to both sides, pumped it up, opened the bleed valves.  The fluid moved slowly but after fluid started flowing here came the bubbles.  Closed the bleed valves, tested the brakes and they were rock solid on the first try.
