MooneyMitch Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 Happy the two folks appear to be in relative good condition.
bnicolette Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 My employer just sold this airplane like a month or so ago? That's too bad, but at least everybody is okay. Anybody have any idea what happened?
RobertoTohme Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 I'm glad that the occupants did well on the crash and wish them a speedy recovery. It's sad to see a bird that I picked new at the factory just 5 years ago has been totaled, though... Brett, How are you liking the "M30"?
bnicolette Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 Oh, I wish it was my M30 (TBM850). You know I walk out in the hangar and it's filled with Learjets 31, 35 & 60, but the sexiest airplane in there is the TBM850. While I was waiting for them to pull my chariot out for that day (lear 35), I went over and climbed in the TBM. That nose is soooooooo long as seen from the cockpit, but what a beautiful airplane inside and out. If only I had extra 3 mil for my personal airplane.

ndesai Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 Yes, it is me. My wife has bruised legs and walked out. I had a fractured left thigh bone -required nailing and now home recovering. Thanks for all good wishes from you guys. Thank god we are alive and part of this community. Unable to share details on the accident while working with the regulatory agencies. The Mooney tubular steel frame held us in intact.
bnicolette Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 Doc, sooooooo glad you and your better half are okay!!! Get well.

orangemtl Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Dr Desai, I am sorry to hear of your mishap, and pleased to know that your wife escaped with relatively minor injuries. Sad that your Acclaim was destroyed; happy that it gave its life in return for saving yours. I wish you a speedy recovery.
