I need the interior heater flapper valve bezel P/N 340282-001or complete valve assembly P/N 340281-501 for my 1977 Mooney M20J S/N 0008, on pages 66-67 of parts manual. Prefer new but used is OK if in good condition. Also if alternate repair technique is available, please advise.

That bezel will be impossible to find new from Mooney. Perhaps Plane Plastics have made them. Here is another option. My 75F had the same bezel. Aircraft Spruce sells the vent. You will need to build a wedge to get it to point higher up.

I got your PM but for some reason when I went back to reply thru tapatalk I can't see my messages. I should have it, but it might be this weekend before I can get to my stash. I'll update you when I find it

Marauder's solution is a good one too. An eyeball vent there might be a big improvement.

I’m having the same issue with Tapatalk. Something changed when the new forum format went up.
