carusoam Posted October 12, 2021 Report Posted October 12, 2021 Welcome aboard Ellen! Let’s see if @Davidv is around here…. He may be interested in things like that… There are other collectors around here too… show us what you got… if you can. Or share some details… any history about the document, how you got it? Does it have any ink signatures on it? Best regards, -a- Quote
Kevin Harberg Posted October 12, 2021 Report Posted October 12, 2021 (edited) Note to Mooney enthusiasts. I beilieve this may be a legitimate proposal for the sale of the Type Certificate formerly held by Fred Quarles who offered the Mooney M-18X plans to the public in the 1970's. Fred passed away very recently. Edited October 13, 2021 by Kevin Harberg Updated information. Quote
1964-M20E Posted October 14, 2021 Report Posted October 14, 2021 Interesting, Could we get it and offer "plans" on MS for anyone willing to build one?? Would be nice to do for the M20 as well. 1 Quote

Kevin Harberg Posted October 14, 2021 Report Posted October 14, 2021 I believe that manufacturing and production rights follow the type certificate holder. Type certification is an expensive venture. Quote
StevenL757 Posted October 14, 2021 Report Posted October 14, 2021 (edited) Sorry @Ellen (and Kevin). I posted my above before I saw this... Edited October 14, 2021 by StevenL757 Quote
