The GEA 24 has two annunciator outputs that can be connected to external indicators. I'm thinking of connecting one or both to Flightmate inputs on a PMA450B audio panel for audio alerts. There is a warning output: active low for any gauge that enters a red range + alert, and a caution output: active low for any gauge that enters a yellow range + alert. Not sure what the alert range is. Probably buried in one of these miserable Garmin manuals somewhere. I was thinking that the red/warning might be too late especially for CHT, and the yellow/caution might give nuisance alerts especially if it includes the yellow range on the tachometer. Any pireps on would be appreciated. Thanks.
