I don't recall how long it took to get the 'real' one in the mail, but I was good to go with the emailed one until it did. There is a whole company making great strides in electronic signed documents... called Docusign... Best regards, -a- DocuSign is one of a number of companies which provide electronic signature services. It is probably the most recognized and widely used for both electronic and digital signatures. BTW, speaking of the FAA, it will accept digitally signed Bills of Sale and aircraft registration applications. And some electronic Logbook providers, including MyFlightbook, have electronic signature capability. 1
