jax88
The job took much longer than anticipated (thanks to all the work that had to be done to fix my Century 41 AP), but my new panel is finally finished. If interested, you'll have to view the before pics in my gallery, I can't find them on this laptop. New Garmin stack with GTN-650, GTX-330ES, SL30, a replacement of my old audio panel, a new digital clock, vertical card compass, two new GI106A indicators, and a new JPI EDM700 with fuel flow. When we discovered that the autopilot needed a new main board and a new pitch servo I went ahead and got a GPSS unit installed as well. jetdriven
New pitch servo or overhauled? That stack looks nice.
carusoam
Nice curly egt sensors. I guess that will help with longevity.... Best regards, -a-
jax88
Neither my main board nor my pitch servo could be repaired, both had to be replaced. Both had corrosion, which is a bit bothersome, even though the airframe doesn't show any signs of corrosion. I suppose it could be the materials used and/or how they were treated versus how the airframe has been treated. Were the sensors not supposed to be curly? Maybe that was for my co-pilot's sake
jetdriven
Surface corrosion on the outside of the pitch servo is probably a minor dea if you could clean it up and paint it. The inside of it is what matters. Did you open it up? Was it functioning?

jax88
Wish I could get the 201 windshield mod done, but I think it's already been determined that it isn't available right now.
jetdriven
Aerobat95 just did a 201 windshield mod on an F in San Antonio with Ron Fisher. One of them might know something.

aerobat95
You should be able to get the windshield mod in the very near future. Dan at Lasar talked to Mooney and requested the parts for the mod. So give it a little bit and you should be good to go.

John Pleisse
Randy...that panel is flush. Glad the C-41 is fixed. A great autopilot when working. Money well-spent!!
