ThorFlight Posted January 20, 2020 Report Posted January 20, 2020 The keys to my J came with this logo. Would be nice to have the matching dealer sign. Someone must need this to decorate their hangar. https://sacramento.craigslist.org/avo/d/lincoln-vintage-mooney-aircraft-dealer/7055626038.html 3 Quote
flyboy0681 Posted January 20, 2020 Report Posted January 20, 2020 Hope I'm not offending anyone here, but I always thought that logo was really lame and amateurish. The current one, while still not great, is much better. 1 Quote

However, it is Mooney history from a great period of Mooney and the wonderful people that built them, which I cherish and respect. The logo does represent that particular time in space. Certainly the logo is not current, but I’m very proud to display it on my vintage Mooney . And I also cherish a bit of other Mooney history hanging in my closet. 5 Quote

jrwilson Posted January 20, 2020 Report Posted January 20, 2020 I DO need it to decorate my hangar! And he is local, but $1000 seems pretty steep for a hangar decoration. I texted him and said if nobody else is interested and the price drops to let me know. 1 Quote

rbridges Posted January 20, 2020 Report Posted January 20, 2020 He should have listed the price as 1 AMU. 2 Quote
Bravoman Posted January 21, 2020 Report Posted January 21, 2020 Pretty cool, I’d give a couple hundred for sure. Quote
carusoam Posted January 21, 2020 Report Posted January 21, 2020 I saw one MSer point out a similar sign hanging in its vintage location.... The negotiations were short... The owner just liked its vintage I’ve been out in the Florida sun for decades look... It is still hanging there... unless, this is the same sign... Best regards, -a- Quote
