Great pic, BadMoon!

The soft aluminum has a pretty high wear rate compared to the chromed steel handle that goes in there...

The egg shaped worn area is responsible for many gear handles not becoming fully latched...

The thumbnail test is used to help identify this challenge (for anyone that hasn’t swapped out this part yet)

Lasar is pretty good at supplying these parts if anyone is in need...
