Hmm.  The only reference to the KCS-55A system in my M20J is the entry in my POH equipment list as the KFC-150 installation.  There is no separate entry in logs or a separate 337 for either the KCS-55A or the KFC-150

So...

How does one handle that...

Many Mooneys came from the factory with complete BK (AI/HSI/AP plus a few other support boxes) systems....

Would calling the factory or an MSC be a more direct solution to getting proper documentation?

I may be mistaken, but those avionics are TSO parts and wouldn't need an STC or field approval since the TSO standard serves as approved data for installation.

You will need to install it as a major (337)  IAW Bendix King install manual , IAW 43.13 yaddah yaddah yaddah…. It will need an IA signoff
