I'm going to trading it in, but I won't get anywhere near what it's worth. I know they retail for $8K to $9K. The shop will only give about $6K. Anyone interested, I will take $500 over what ever the trade-in price is, plus shipping. I will be more than happy to give you the shop name and phone number, along with their written price quote. I will not be able to pick up the plane until September 25th. So it will be after that before I can get it into the shop for removal. I will also have the audio panel and transponder if interested. OK guys, I want to be up front with everyone. My intention was to sell my 12 Volt 530W with terrain, for $500 over trade in value. My local shop, Avionics Solutions in Lafayette, LA gave me a price of $5,500. I added $500 to come up with $6,000. Gulf Coast Avionics, in Florida gave me a trade in price of $6,500. That would bring it to $7,000. I'm not trying pull one over on anyone, I'm just trying to be consistent with my original intent. I have a price quote from Gulf Coast to back up what I am saying. In a less than perfect world you'd give it to the person you promised to for the $6500 you're getting since it's not costing you anything to do that. Hard to dispute that. It's not hard to keep your word when it's in your favor to do so.
