Hey guys I’m in the process of doing my annual and the mechanic is suggesting to replace several rod ends.  Some play but not a whole lot.

Anybody have any information on Heim part numbers to replace the rod ends without replacing the whole tube specifically the one that attached to the aileron?

Some are listed in the Mooney manual but not all.

Hi,

The bearing number is usually found on the face between the od & id. Once you have that, a Google search should render a supplier. Aircraft Spruce & Skygeek carry some. If no luck, let me know; may be able to find them.
