Bleech.  My measly little M20c can have me in the lower teens.  Plenty for me.  Turbonormalizers can do a real number on those cylinders.  

And about those Lanceairs. The propjets have about the worst safety record in the fleet. Nothing at all wrong with the design, but if anything goes wrong they're a handful, and even if all goes well they're a handful.  Good luck landing a farm field in one of those.

i didn't get into this to be flying a mini airliner.

I'd trade my 252 for @Yooper Rocketman's turbine in a hot second, if I could afford it. Otherwise, I'll just keep my 252. It gets us around pretty good.

I'd probably swap the rocket for a 4p let alone the turbine.

Just get a TBM and save all the development headaches. Again not cheap, but you said fast and turbine.
