33ES is for the G1000 or other remote installations, like the GTN750 I believe. Same functionality as the 330ES but installed in the avionics bay in the tail.

Recently devalued with the intro of the new Garmin boxes, which of course aren't tray compatible with the 33/330ES. /disgruntled 330ES owner

I think I bought the last one of these Alan had up for sale. I couldn't be happier with it. By paring it with the 530W that was already in my panel, I became fully ADSB compliant. It's also nice to have a modern, push button transponder.

Thanks, I think you are right. It could replace my GTX-327 and be remote mounted. I'm still holding out for the new Garmin version that can talk to my Aspens.
