fastforward Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 After looking at many of your informative posts here, Mooneyspace seems like a great starting point to sell this M20K. I'm not a broker. carusoam Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Where did you say it is....? Looks like Colorado. Very nice paint layout. For anyone interested in making a look-see. Best regards, -a- Got it! U42 is in Utah. Quote
fastforward Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Posted May 27, 2014 You got it. The plane is at South Valley Airport aka Salt Lake #2 airport. That's the Wasatch Range in the background. Quote
DAVIDWH Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 You might want to recheck your asking price. Mooney AC in Kerrville wants several hundred thousand for a very similar aircraft. Quote
carusoam Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Price is a funny thing.... It only matters to the buyer and seller. Some people need every cent from the sale and others, a few thousand either way won't make a difference. The rest of us are just spectators to this wonderful event. I'm happy to see a nicely updated, older, mid body for sale. Hoping the seller gets top dollar. I also would like to know what type of business he's in? I would want to do something similar. Before retirement, I was an industrial machine buyer of both new and pre-loved industrial machines... Best regards, -a- As David points out above, don't leave anything on table. You may consider seeking professional help to best determine market pricing for a relatively unique machine in the current market. Then again, some sellers want things to go away fast! Quote
fastforward Posted May 27, 2014 Author Report Posted May 27, 2014 I definitely appreciate the input. Trying to find comparable aircraft has been difficult at best. Our goal is to find this Mooney a good home at a price that will make both parties happy. Quote
carusoam Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 One resource you may consider is All American Aircraft. They specialize in Mooneys. http://allamericanaircraft.com/Default.htm See what you can learn from them.... Best regards, -a- Quote
Roger O Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Beautiful plane! Hope it sells quickly. Quote
