  1. This is first time I have seen a graphical depiction of these GPS outages. I've only seen the long convoluted text versions that have a series of lat lons. I backtracked to the source of Piloto's link and found the main page: http://www.faasafety.gov/SPANS/notices_public.aspx Much better to be able to see on a map. Looks like AZ, NV an AK will also have GPS interference.
  2. The plane is in for annual and I was able to get some more photos. From what I could see in the open inspection panels, everything was very clean. It will have a fresh annual, IFR pitot static, and oxygen tank recertification.
  3. The installation information I have shows the TKS system at 36.7 lbs with 55.2 lbs for fluid for a total of 91.9 lbs. The Precise Flight website says their speed brakes are 10 lbs. The intercooler shows another 10 lbs. That's 110 lbs without trying very hard. If I'm doing my math right, the plane you're looking at has about 290 lbs of extras. That's based off a 1040 lbs shown on the Mooney Model comparison from the LASAR website for a 231. http://www.lasar.com/userfiles/file/Mooney-Model-Comparison.pdf Hope that helps.
  4. Like many older planes, it has had some issues. The previous couple of owners have put in a lot of work and modifications. I'm really hoping it will find a good home soon.
  5. I was recently asked for these additional views, so I'm adding them here as well.
  6. Yes, the plane is still for sale. Thanks for the help Lance. I guess it's been a bit since I've been back here. The plane is listed on the Controller website as well as: http://www.planeboard.com/mooney/m20k-231/55THXyc3 and http://www.lasar.com/w/id/213/new-plane-details.asp Right now it's listed at $114,000
  7. Thanks! From what I can tell, it's a one off design by Scheme Designers. http://www.schemedesigners.com/Sample-Mooney231.htm
  8. I definitely appreciate the input. Trying to find comparable aircraft has been difficult at best. Our goal is to find this Mooney a good home at a price that will make both parties happy.
  9. You got it. The plane is at South Valley Airport aka Salt Lake #2 airport. That's the Wasatch Range in the background.
  10. After looking at many of your informative posts here, Mooneyspace seems like a great starting point to sell this M20K. I'm not a broker. Just helping my employer try to sell this plane.
