mooneygirl Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 This is a must watch. A long story that is pro-GA and pro-airport. Horray. Way to go Mitchell Gossman and I understand Tom Lau is also trying to get all the passport stamps as well in a Mooney. http://kstp.com/article/12303/?vid=5131917&v=1 1 Quote
gsxrpilot Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 I see there are programs like this for Minn, VA, SC, NC, but I don't find one for Texas. Does anyone know if there is a similar Passport program in Texas to visit all airports in the state? Thanks, Quote
carusoam Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Very nice. Our plan is to land at every airport with a lunch counter... Similar but different! Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
Jeff_S Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Wow, that's a pretty good program, getting a "leather jacket" for landing at all the "little airports" in Minnesota. I've embarked on a similar quest on my own here in Georgia, and have about half of them, done. 1 Quote
scottfromiowa Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Looking forward to seeing you and socks in -upgraded leather jackets- sometime soon. Have fun! I will be up at Willmar getting left tank sealed in a couple of weeks. Nice idea (passports). Fly safe, Scott Quote

flyboy Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 I'm working on it in SC. There are 59 public use airports on the list, I have 42 or so in my passport now. Sometimes the stamp is locked up in the FBO after hours which may require a second (or third) visit. It's a cool program to promote aviation. I usually go with a buddy of mine, we share the cost and share the fun. We add in a food stop and make a nice day of it. Sometimes I will pick up some hood time and IAP along the way. Quote
flyboy Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Does anyone have a link for the Georgia passport program? Quote
