But the nose gear has a pretty easy life unless it suffers from bad pilot technique. Typically the nose wheel isn't lowered until the weight of the plane is on the mains.

Or bad towing technique, my nose gear had to be repaired by PO because somebody over steered it.

Possibly but I've never heard of one collapsing as a result. They'll bend but it seems like to break they'd need to take a serious impact.
