kurtsnyder Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 I had to replace my electric turn coordinator last month and just bought a unit outright and didn't get an overhauled unit. Therefore, I'm selling my old unit as a core for $100 plus $7 shipping. Thanks! Quote
yvesg Posted October 18, 2013 Report Posted October 18, 2013 Kurt, can you check what is the current spec for that unit? I need that mumber. Yves Quote
kurtsnyder Posted October 18, 2013 Author Report Posted October 18, 2013 It was last overhauled by Muncie Aviation in 1999. Again, the unit is not in working condition. It makes a lot of noise when it spins up and doesn't accurately show a 3deg/sec turn. Does this picture help? Quote
yvesg Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 I have a similar one in my panel... and need the current rating to complete my updated load analysis. I don't want to have to take it out. Yves Quote
KSMooniac Posted October 19, 2013 Report Posted October 19, 2013 It is probably on its own circuit breaker...just see what it is and you have an upper bound. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk Quote

If you could take a picture of the sticker where it reads "rating 12 ..." or just tell me what it reads after the 12....I assume the current is written on that as well but your picture angle does not show. kurtsnyder Posted October 20, 2013 Author Report Posted October 20, 2013 I'm not sure what you want. The only other sticker is on the side of the unit and just has the overhaul date, but no rating. The only indication of a rating is what is in the picture above. "Rating 12-32 VDC". Nowhere does it give the amount of current it draws. Quote
yvesg Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 OK Kurt, I hoped the current rating would be written beside the voltage rating. Thanks. Yves Quote
Alan Fox Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 Just so Yves knows , that is not the factory turn coordinator , I replaced that when I did the SWTA panel on Kurts plane.....But it is the small lightweight Turn Coordinator and is probably 800 new... Quote
