Growth of Mooneyspace!

Hello Everyone!

While I created this place for Mooniacs to converge - I feel like this place is really more yours than mine these days since I have little time to visit and even less (or no) time to develop on the site these days.  Therefore I would like to share the analytics data with everyone - I think you will be impressed with the growth this community has seen since I opened the doors on Oct 2008.

Lastly I would like to say how impressed I am with the professionalism and maturity of this community.  I have spent a LOT of time on many forums - and the fact that this board sees *zero* moderation and remains this high quality is amazing to me. 

Thanks for making this site even more than I envisioned.  I look forward to the day when I can sit down and work out some  of the existing kinks as well as add cool, new features (complete with new kinks!)

Looks like you hit an inflection point in the middle of last year and growth has continued since then. That's pretty typical for a quality web-based community, and I would think given the closed nature of the Mooney clan it should continue to grow for awhile before leveling off once it reaches a saturation point where all those who are likely to join have done so. (There I go again, talking like a marketing dude.)

I'll just say that I found this site at the beginning of my Mooney search and it's been an invaluable help in finding the right plane, but also now learning to get the most out of it. My thanks as well!

Thanks, Craig, for a site that is always interesting, sometimes funny, and more useful than I ever thought it would be. Thanks, also, go to the folks who answer questions politely and seriously and are never too good to share their experiences with a newbie or a prospective Mooney owner. Pretty classy bunch!

 That would be great! I am moving to Santa Fe, NM in a few months but if you are here before then I would be happy to meet up.  My business partner also has a nice 1978 M20J based here.

This is by far the best site on the Mooney topic i have ever seen and it is thanks to you and all the good people here that make it what it is.

You hit the nail on the head about the demeanor of everybody here. I dont believe i have ever seen a harsh word typed or seen anybody get "flamed" as it is called.

Visiting this site is one of the best ways to get that Mooney fix and chat with some nice folks at the same time.

While sometimes I would like to see an expansion to include an index of service issues and maybe a parts exchange, I applaud the fact the we are not constantly bombarded with commercial posts or advertising.

IMHO, this site is more deserving of support than most.
