docket Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Anyone ever seen a yoke mounted clock like the beechcrafts have? I am looking at putting in the G600 and it would be great to use my existing clock hole for the airspeed indicator. Quote
bgpilot1 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Davtron has one. Part number M800M. You can purchase through aircraftspruce. You will need a machined part to make it fit. I was able to buy the adapter from Lake Aero/Laser but they may be out. You may want to try SW Texas or ask Laser for the specs. You may also find an original quartz clock from Wentworth, used. This applies to the M20 series, don't know about the rest. Regards, Barry Quote
mjc Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I have the Davtron M800M installed on my yoke. I bought it a few years ago from LASAR for not much more than Aircraft Spruce was charging for the non-yoke-mounted M800. It's a really nice installation, but obviously not ideal if you have some panel room and want to put something else on the yoke. I emailed Davtron (they have excellent support) and they will sell a new faceplate to convert from the M800M to the M800 for $15, so you can get the yoke-mount one and change your mind later. MHale Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 Gorgeous new interior. Where did you have it done? Quote

mjc Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Quote: HRM It is hard to see how you did those clamps (great idea, BTW). Adel clamps are closed, are you saying that you opened one end of each to make a pair of hooks that the tow bar sets in? Quote
HRM Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 Quote: mjc Yes, that's exactly it. Quote
BigTex Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 When I purchased my plane, the yoke where the clock normally goes was removed and was covered up with a clipboard. Not a fan of the yoke mounted clipboard, I've decided to pull it off and reinstall the clock. The only problem is I don't have the Quartz clock that would mount on the yoke. It appears the Quartz clock sold by Aircraft Spruce doesn't fit. Any thoughts on how I can get my hands on the orginal clock? Quote
stevesm20b Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 If the clock from a 1961 "B" model is the same. I have one that I would sell. Quote
