Tropical storm Isaac

FWIW  IMHO

At the current time the NHC has Isaac’s track moving back eastward (sorry for those of you in the panhandle and southern AL area) as it approaches the panhandle.  I’d just hangar in place unless you are on the west coast of FL in the Cross City area or in the panhandle.  Most commercially built buildings are usually designed to withstand 100 to 120mph winds or possibly more.  I’d most likely hangar in place even in the panhandle unless I was worried about tidal surge or other flooding.  Yes you could have a tornado but then all bets are off you can have one of those in a bad line of thunderstorms as well.  For you in Longwood, FL, I’d stay put or if you really wanted to move the plane I’d move the plane south east.  If you were to go north you’d only be putting you plane in the path of the storm and its remnants unless you went north of Atlanta.

I’ll be watching to see if it wanders back to the west.  I really start thinking about moving the plane when the track centerline is between Mobile Bay, AL and Lafayette, LA.
