I would like to think that’s why the price is now 18,700 I’m not an MT expert, but long ago the UH-60 went to nickel edge blades over SS and Nickel is FAR superior in the Desert rocks and sand, when they hover you can see the halo from sand, AH-64 blades have four main spars stacked one behind the other that are titanium, the Ti seemed to wear faster than Nickel from what I saw, nickel is tough from an erosion standpoint, don’t know how big a rock it takes to disbond it though Anyway I had head that MT had changed to nickel, but don’t know that for a fact nor do I know if they did it for all props, but if I were buying an MT from well anywhere but Deland I’d want it in writing it’s Nickel from concern it could be an old stock SS one.
