Shiroyuki Posted August 11, 2024 Report Posted August 11, 2024 As a new mooney owner, I'm curious about if there's any new information on how's the mooney company going? Last update I could find is they laid off all employee in 2020 and sold to new owners. Quote

They might take a while depending on the part. I emailed them about a technical question a week ago and Frank Crawford emailed me back within a day. There are some 3rd party parts that Mooney hasn’t been willing/able to order that are pretty hard to find. Seems mostly for older models. 2 Quote
EricJ Posted August 11, 2024 Report Posted August 11, 2024 They no longer make airplanes. They make some Mooney parts on demand, and apparently stay open by doing contract manufacturing for other companies. Quote
LANCECASPER Posted August 11, 2024 Report Posted August 11, 2024 https://www.investmentreports.co/interview/jonny-pollack-1180 They also have a busy Factory Service Center to service Mooneys. 2 Quote
dkkim73 Posted August 12, 2024 Report Posted August 12, 2024 They did my annual ending in February 2024. AFAIK they are still active with that, as well as Mooney parts manufacturing (I saw their parts cages during a tour), and contract parts manufacturing (for companies you would recognize). Quote
shawnd Posted August 13, 2024 Report Posted August 13, 2024 Sign up for MooneyMax (https://www.mooneymax.com) and you may get a factory tour (it was planned at least!) Quote
