Just bead blasted my aileron control rod and there's some pitting in the tubing so looking to purchase another one.

Preferably the newer style 2001 and newer? with the heim joint with the lock nut on the aileron end.

But either type will work.

Thank you

Brian

A good option might be to ask an msc to order one from mooney as these are the kind of parts they are still making.

If you want salvage, maybe @Alan Fox

You might check with BAS or some of the other recyclers.   I bought a couple from them a few months ago and got them pretty quickly.   They were reasonably priced, too.

I’ve had this one on my spares shelf for years.  It’s got a poorly-applied coat of spray paint on it but I’m almost certain its done it’s job of protecting the metal under it.  If otherwise or if it is the wrong part you can send it back and I’ll refund your money, minus your return shipping expenses.  $110 shipped.

Sounds good I'll take it, I'll probably bead blast and repaint it before I use it.

Thank you
