So needing to replace door seal on my Acclaim.  Did see a string about a year ago. Wondering if anyone has replaced one recently, if so what product?

Any words of wisdom? I will be having Cole in GA do it, not me the flunky.

Joey is a master, just tell him and he will put the right seal on, the correct way.

Fantastic,  how refreshing to deal with a craftsman. Look forward to working with him.

If you find a door seal that fits well and the door still closely easily and properly, please let us know the source, manufacturer and part number.

In late 2021 shortly before I sold my Bravo I decided to install the Bob Fields Inflatable Door Seal. (https://aerocessories.aero/collections/mooney-collection)            (story of my life - I usually sell something right after I get it exactly the way I want it)

If I ever decide to change out my door seal on the Acclaim it will be with the inflatable door seal. I had heard people rave about them before and wondered if they were any better, but I was very impressed by the huge improvement on noise. It was well worth the extra effort. It's quite a not of work but not really much more than installing any new door seal correctly. Especially if I was paying someone else to do it I would definitely have them install this seal - do it once and do it right. @Tomgo2 owns a Piper Commanche with one of the seals that's been on nearly 40 years and it still works.

The STC on the door seal covers M20A - M20K, but since all of the doors are the same, a "friendly" IA may very well consider it a minor alteration. My IA just entered it in the logbook as a new door seal.

I purchased the fields seal for the acclaim but I’m having issues getting Someone to install it, basically as lance mentioned it’s not on the STC, it worked great on my Bravo as well. I may sell the seal it’s the custom not electric one
