My plane going into annual i noticed the left strobe is inop. I was thinking of just replacing the bulb as my A&P is swamped and I don’t want to keep the plane down doing a full led replacement at this time but I can’t seem to find the part number. Anybody know off hand the part number for a M20K 252 strobe?

I’m away from the house and the IPC would like to get one ordered on the way.

thanks in advance.

It may be slightly more complex than just the bulb…

It may be the power supply…

There are a few for sale around here… with everyone going LED…

visual inspection may show the bulb in good shape… swapping parts from left to right may help…

Good luck with the next steps…

Best regards,

It is perhaps more likely to be the power supply than the bulb assembly.    The usual approach these days is to just replace the whole system with LEDs.

Well if it’s the power supply i know see why people goto led as a single power supply pack is as much money as the 2 led nav and strobe lights and you are saving 2 pounds to boot.
