Poll is incomplete. Second question should include the option of the incident being discussed (investigated) by the experts. The three year caveat for the report is a red herring.

There is a right way to discuss Mooney accidents on MS…

Using the highest level of respect in the first days is important…

Sticking to the facts is always helpful…

As the days go by…

The discussions often get quite speculative…

If we are discussing the facts of the present accident… or one remotely similar…. It makes a great safety discussion… often honoring the lost airman…

Where things fall apart… Early speculation… and messy writing…. That imply the pilot could have done something better….

Know that a simple search by the family members will have them here quickly…

Be generous and kind in their time of need…. :)

Our discussions can always wait a few days….

Often, respectful discussions… allow the people involved in the accident to open up and discuss what happened…

MS can be a hard place to open one’s soul….

Often… the discussion gets soooo long… the next person to arrive at the conversation doesn’t realize what has gone on in the first page…

Go MS!

Best regards,
