Walkaround

My son and I have decided to seriously begin looking for an airplane to share time and costs. Probably not the best time, but he is PP, working toward IR and more! His goal is to make a career of flying. He is funding by working the FBO at Hartsfield (ATL). I'm retired Marine aviator with PPL, ASEL, MEL, IR and will happily play safety pilot for him. Can't get any better, right? Watching your kid reach for the goal? I'm comfortable in complex and he is beginning. Mooney is on our list of desirables and has always been an interesting airplane to me.  My dad had a friend years ago, in south Florida that used to take us flying in a 201. Asking if there are any Mooney drivers in the Atlanta metro area that would share a walkaround and ownership lessons? Thanks in advance, this is a great forum and incredible resource.

Atlanta is a big place.  Lots of Mooney drivers around.  I'm on the south side of KATL, where are you?
