laytonl Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Has anybody replaced the insulation in the sidewalls during an SB208 inspection? If so, what insulation product did you use? Lee Quote
N6843N Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 So who has the least expensive compliance kit for 208B? Or is there any other alternative when it comes to insulation? Seeing as how I spent the day removing all that crappy fiberglass. Now I'm off to the shower, itch, itch. Quote

N6843N Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 What thickness did you order? Have you installed it yet? Quote
laytonl Posted November 29, 2009 Author Report Posted November 29, 2009 That stuff is what I was thinking about too. Let us know how it goes. Lee Quote
N6843N Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 I finally got all the tape, insulation, and a wire bundle to nowhere out of the plane. Still some clean up to do and then a decision on to insulate or not. Quote
N6843N Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 I found out today that the "kit" is $650 minus 20% till the end of the year. Most everybody I talked to said they just cut it out from 1 inch closed cell foam, of course it is of the "approved" variety, I think thats the way I will go. Quote
