Bendix D3000

New to the forum but have owned the plane for 14 years.  I know SB643B states this mag needs a 500 hr inspection.  I have heard or read somewhere there is also a reccomeded 5 yr time interval.  Anyone verify this??

That's sounds about right.  Just had mine overhauled at annual.  There's not much redundancy in that little unit so I'd be certain yours is up to standard.
