IFD Software Upgrade Information

I had the avionics shop upgrade the software on my IFD 550 to version 10.2.6.1.  Once the upgrade was completed I was receiving a "GAD42 needs service".  After some back and forth with the shop and Avidyne it was discovered that on the Main ARINC 429 Config Page "GAD42" needs to be changed to "EFIS/AirData".   Problem resolved.

Just thought I would share.
