Could I possibly sit in your Mooney and see how it fits? (Athens, GA / Atlanta, GA)

The first Mooney I ever sat in was an F.  It had the same dimensions as my C.  Can't really speak to the later models.

But the F is 10” longer in the back.

Just wanted to give props to @81X for flying his awesome bird over for a fitting! We had a very nice visit and discussion. Sitting in the Mooney was definitely a different experience. The cockpit felt more compact as everything is "closer" to you. I fit in it okay but I think over an extended period of time, it may prove to be problematic for me. Characterizing a Mooney as having a sports car feel is very accurate. It was very nice gesture for 81X to come over and let me judge for myself. Beautiful airplanes. I can fully understand why people love them. :)

You are most welcome, @p51p28, it was great meeting you as well!  We are all similar in our enjoyment of aviation, even if the brand doesn’t fit the mission, person or preferences.

I have yet to meet a pilot I didn’t like, maybe we are the highest form of life.

I’m even friends with a Baron guy and enjoy flying it from time to time, as much as it pains me to admit that!

You are of course correct.  I was specifically referring to the cockpit dimensions, which are identical.

@p51p28sorry if the Moonship isn't your cup of tea, your loss.  I love mine.  You more wear it than sit in it, and I'm really, really good with that.

For sure. As with anything, each to his own right? Thanks again for initiating my request Steingar. Much appreciated. :)
