Hey everyone, so I bought a 66 M20E and it needs a spinner, the hangar door hit the other one in a bad storm and dented it. I have the SA704NE STC for the McCauley C3D36C415 Propeller and D5951/D5992 spinner. McCauley wants $2k and has a 12 week lead time on the spinner as neither is currently in production. I was wondering if anyone knows of anybody that has one laying around or if the D6012 spinner from the Blackmac propeller with the scimitar blades would dimensionally work (I'm assuming I would need 337/field approval if this were the case). I checked dimensions with one for sale on fleabay and he said all the screw holes line up but I'm concerned the midplate will not fit on the front of the prop or be too close/far away. Thanks.

Besides the usual Mooney used parts sources (Alan Fox, Loewen Mooney Salvage, etc.), Controller.com has a pn search feature that is sometimes handy... below is a screen shot of some of the hits on D5992... Good luck!

Hey, thanks for all the help guys. Our parts guy was able to track one down at a salvage yard so I ended up going with that. Thank you for the recommendations from all, I will keep them in mind for the future!
