I am 45 years older than my Mooney. It is approaching 25 but still seems new to me

My grandma who spent some of her formative years during the Great Depression -

Had a classic 1950's style all white couch that was covered in plastic for as long as she owned it, and no one was ever allowed to sit on it.  When she was moving to an assisted living facility she offered that 45 year old couch to me and she said I should take it - its new!

Boy a 1991 M20J would be kinda neat to own...

It WILL be neat to own... (stay positive, have faith in yourself...)

Something about time....

When I bought my 65C...

I was just out of school for a few years, recently married, had a house, filled it with kids...  debt up to my ears...

Day care costs as much as some colleges...

Time goes by....

Things get paid off... 401ks get filled up... world events come and go...

You need to be ready, when your 91J becomes available....  :)

Then there is that whole other thing... stay healthy...

You have to stay healthy to use it...  :)

How is that New England area working out so far?

Best regards,

One day when I was home from University a couple high school friends came to visit.  I sat us down in our family's formal living room to chat.  My mother walked in and in an astonished voice asked what we thought we were doing.  I told her we were talking in the living room, as that was what it was there for.  She got thoughtful for a moment, and then agreed.

My Mooney was born while I was in my last year of high school (1990), it took another 25 years before our paths merged.
