A few years ago I purchased a Northern Companion Engine Pre-Heater. It's available new from Aircraft Spruce for $1054.00 plus shipping.

This is a remarkable pre-heater designed by an Alaska bush pilot. It can be used outdoors without any external power source.  It operates on camping fuel, 100 Low Lead (from your fuel tanks), Kerosene, diesel or jet fuel.  Its extremely compact, fitting in a 6x17 travel bag, easily fitting in the baggage area of any Mooney aircraft.  I used it when I was tied down outside in New York.  I am now in a heated hangar so I don't need it any longer.  It's in perfect condition, like new.  All the documentation is included.  It puts out 20,000 BTU and will pre-heat your aircraft in about 90 minutes in sub-freezing conditions.  No battery or other electrical outlet required.  It can also be used for emergency heating and cooking, if necessary.  Price is $595.00 and I'll ship it anywhere in the lower 48 for free.  Offering it to MSER's for a few days before I post it to the rest of the world.
