G1000 flight plan via Fore Flight

Anyone use Garmin Flight Stream 210 to wirelessly load flight plans into a legacy G1000?  Just trying to see if there is a way to use the much easier Foreflight app to load and modify flight plans into the G1000.  Thanks!

Pretty sure the G1000 did not support flight plan transfer with the Flight Streams.  Think that first came with the G1000 NXi’s.

I called Garmin and asked if there was a solution and he gave me a half answer.  He said you can use the 210 but not everyone has had success..  Not sure how to interpret that so you may be right.  Not trying to use the data update feature just wanted to see if there is a way to transfer flight plan info back and forth.  You would think there would be some solution to do this?

We installed A FS 210 with a G1000H before and could not get it to work.  So our experience is limited to that one install that did not work.

The G1000 NXi specifically touts wireless data transfer (databases and flight plans) as one of the improvements over the G1000, which logically implies the G1000 didn’t have it.

With Garmin giving a half answer, your just gambling to buy it and have it installed...
