My caps often become extremely tough to lock down so I periodically spray a little LPS 1 and that does the trick very well.  They still have some resistance and lock nicely but it doesn’t feel like I’m “forcing” something.

A quick squirt of Tri Flow works well, too, and i keep that in the hangar. And at home, since buying the Mooney. Works great on door hinges, swivel chairs, car doors and hood hinges . . . . .
